Course Details
The River Course at Kingsmill Resort remains a standout example of Pete Dye’s early design philosophy. Having hosted the PGA Tour’s Michelob Championship from 1981 to 2002 and now serving as the venue for an LPGA event, the course seamlessly integrates with the natural landscape. Rather than relying on bold architectural elements, it embraces the organic contours of the wooded terrain. The final three holes wind along the James River, with the par-3 17th perched atop a bluff, offering both a scenic and strategic challenge.
