Originally founded as a modest nine-hole course in 1901, the William Flynn-designed layout at this club underwent transformation in 1920, revealing the challenging yet scenic course everyone plays today. Nestled on rolling ridges with a meandering river, water features are prominently found on most holes, particularly shining from the second to eighth holes, nestled within a picturesque river valley. Flynn's signature bunkering strategically tests all golfers who step onto the course, while the diverse and captivating par 3s add another layer of challenge and intrigue. Recognized among America's best, this Flynn course proudly hosted the record-breaking 2015 U.S. Women's Open and awaits the 2024 edition.
