Opened in 1984, Eagle Creek Golf & Country Club’s 18-hole championship course threads through Southwest Florida’s native landscape. Designed by Larry Packard—father of the double dogleg and one of only three recipients of the ASGCA Distinguished Service Award—the layout reflects the hand behind more than 600 courses, including the PGA TOUR-favored Copperhead. Eagle Creek remains a Naples standout, hosting the 2019 U.S. Open local qualifier, the Men’s and Women’s Senior State Amateur Championships, and regular Florida State Golf Association junior events. Playing surfaces include USGA-spec TifEagle greens, Platinum TE Paspalum and Celebration Bermuda on tees, Celebration Bermuda fairways, and a mix of 419 and Celebration Bermuda in the rough.
