Course Details
Kauai offers a relaxed, tropical atmosphere—more quaint and less commercial than Oahu or Maui. That spirit shaped the design of the Ocean Course at Hokuala, where every hole was crafted with care and intention. The result is a series of signature moments, each as scenic as a postcard. With the ocean meeting the land in dramatic fashion, the course delivers a pure golf experience. Following a full renovation, the Ocean Course stands out for both beauty and challenge. The par-4 16th hole is especially memorable. Though drivable, it demands precise club selection. A well-placed tee shot down the center can leave a chance at eagle. But a miss off the tee brings a tough pitch into play. For most players, the smart choice is a hybrid or long iron off the tee, setting up a short wedge approach to the green.
