Course Details

River Bend Golf & Country Club began in 1961, when a group of like-minded members—many working at the nearby CIA in Langley—purchased Forest Lakes Country Club at 375 Walker Road and reintroduced it as River Bend Club, a name inspired by River Bend Road just to the east. During a major renovation in 2009, a committee explored a new logo and members informally enlisted artist Lee Wybranski, who cleverly linked a fox to the club’s spy-tinged heritage, complete with a trench coat. After years of enthusiastic feedback and a few refinements, the membership voted in 2017 to make the Fox the official mark of River Bend—an iconic emblem with a memorable story wherever it’s seen.
