Course Details

Somerset Country Club, a classic Seth Raynor design dating back to 1919, showcases many of the architect’s signature template holes. Renovations over the years by Stanley Thompson and Bob Moote in the 1950s, followed by updates from Geoff Cornish and Brian Silva in the late 1970s, have helped preserve and refine the course’s distinctive character. On the front nine, players encounter an uphill “Cape,” while the back nine features a sequence of Raynor’s iconic designs, including an “Alps” at the 10th, an “Eden” at the par-three 11th, and a dramatic downhill “Biarritz” at the 230-yard 15th. This long par three remains a stern test, with water guarding the left, out of bounds to the right, and a bold tee shot required to reach the green bisected by a deep swale.
