The layout creates an ever-changing environment, where calm air on one hole can give way to strong coastal winds on the next. In contrast, the Lakes Course lives up to its name, with water coming into play on 16 of the 18 holes. Despite this, it features wide fairways off the tee, allowing room for error. From there, the design challenges skilled players to navigate strategic angles into the greens, while still remaining enjoyable and approachable for those playing a more relaxed round.
