Located about 30 minutes northeast of Nashville, Tennessee Grasslands Golf and Country Club features two distinct courses designed by architect Bill Bergin: Foxland Links and Fairvue Lakes. Foxland Links offers an open front nine with shifting hole directions that encourage shot variety, while the back nine is defined by downhill tee shots to large, elevated greens. Holes 12 through 14 are particularly memorable for their dramatic elevation changes and scenic views. In contrast, Fairvue Lakes begins with several wide, inviting fairways before tightening as water hazards come into play on five straight holes starting at the par-4 ninth—all positioned to the left, tempting players to bail out right. Unlike the elevation-heavy Foxland Links, Fairvue Lakes is relatively flat, demanding thoughtful placement over power.
