The Nissequogue Golf Club was established in 1966 by a group of investors on more than 120 acres of land formerly owned by William J. Ryan. Acclaimed golf course architect Stephen Kay was brought in to design a comprehensive renovation plan, which received unanimous approval. Over the following three years, Kay oversaw the execution of his vision, transforming the course into a 6,643-yard, par-72 championship layout. The project elevated the club’s standing as one of Long Island’s premier golf destinations, while preserving its commitment to excellence.
