Course Details
The West Course at Westchester Country Club, originally designed by Walter J. Travis in 1922 as a championship-caliber test, has a storied history in professional golf. It has played host to the 1923 U.S. Women’s Amateur, 42 PGA TOUR events, the 2011 Senior Players Championship, and the 2015 KPMG Women’s PGA Championship. Several holes—specifically Nos. 2, 3, 6, and 17—were consistently ranked among the most challenging on the PGA TOUR during the course’s long-standing tenure on the circuit. Over the years, the West Course has been refined by renowned architects including Rees Jones, Ken Dye, and most recently, Tom Fazio. It was selected to host the 2021 U.S. Women’s Amateur, continuing its legacy as a premier championship venue.
