Wannamoisett Country Club, located in Rumford, Rhode Island, was established in 1898 and designed by famed architect Donald Ross. Built on just 89 acres, the course is tightly packed with 18 holes, leaving little room for a practice range, and features numerous bunkers and small greens. A recent renovation by Andrew Green in 2021 included expanding greens and fairways, rebuilding bunkers in a more authentic Ross style, and continuing an ongoing tree clearing program. Today, it is considered one of the best par-69 layouts in the country.
