Scioto Country Club, located in Columbus, Ohio, was established in 1916 and originally designed by Donald Ross. The club has hosted several prominent tournaments, including the 1926 U.S. Open, won by Bobby Jones, the 1931 Ryder Cup, and the 1950 PGA Championship. Over the years, the course underwent multiple renovations, including a redesign in 1963 by Dick Wilson, with contributions from associates Joe Lee and Robert von Hagge. In the 2000s, Michael Hurdzan and Jack Nicklaus—who grew up playing at Scioto—collaborated on further updates. In 2021, the club hired Andrew Green to restore the course to its original Donald Ross design, using historical drawings, photographs, and aerial images from the 1926 U.S. Open.
