Course Details
When Donald Ross arrived in America, his first stop was Oakley Country Club, where he immediately began updating its modest early layout. This marked the beginning of a prolific career that would span more than 400 design projects across North America over the next 47 years. Today, Oakley remains largely faithful to Ross’s original routing, with approximately 90% of the layout still intact. The course continues to reflect Ross’s design philosophy and classic Golden Age shot values. Among the most thrilling moments are the demanding par-three tee shots and the challenging second shots into the par fives.
