Course Details

The Stadium Course at TPC Sawgrass, located in Ponte Vedra Beach, Florida, is one of the most iconic golf courses in the world. Designed by Pete and Alice Dye, it opened in 1980 and is renowned for its innovative stadium-style layout, which provides excellent viewing for spectators. The course is home to THE PLAYERS Championship, often referred to as the "fifth major." Its most famous feature is the par-3 17th hole, known as the "Island Green," one of the most recognized and challenging holes in golf.

The William Flynn Foundation received 501(c)(3) status in September of 2023 and is considered a 509(a)(2) public charity under the IRS. Donations are tax deductible. The Foundation serves to enrich the game of golf by providing access to golf where otherwise not available due to financial or logistical hurdles and by providing opportunities for individuals to pursue a career in golf course design, golf course construction, and golf course maintenance. The Foundation is dedicated to increasing access to golf, particularly for individuals with neurodivergent issues (e.g. Autistic Spectrum Disorder, MS, ALS, etc.), intellectual and physical disabilities.

Charitable donations support Foundation efforts to introduce career opportunities, sponsor free clinics and annual golf events for individuals and their families, as well as supporting the operating costs for the Foundation.
