Course Details
Llanerch Country Club was officially established in 1919. In 1924, renowned golf course architect Alex Findlay designed a new course for the club’s members. He returned in 1928 to expand the layout from 18 to 27 holes. However, following World War II, nine holes were lost to residential development. To restore the course to a full 18 holes, the club enlisted J.B. McGovern, a protégé of Donald Ross, to redesign the layout. Llanerch later gained national attention when it hosted the PGA Championship in 1958.
