Pete Dye, in collaboration with co-founder Greg Norman (one of Norman’s earliest U.S. designs), crafted Medalist with his signature style. The layout showcases Dye’s signature S-shaped fairways weaving around sandy hazards, undulating terrain, and compact, subtly elevated greens that seamlessly transition into tightly mown surrounds. While the course underwent several alterations and refinements in the late 1990s and early 2000s, Bobby Weed restored much of Dye’s original vision during a 2015 renovation.
