The West Course, located in Mamaroneck, New York, is one of the most iconic and challenging courses in the United States. It has hosted numerous major championships, including six U.S. Opens and one PGA Championship. Notably, its 640-yard par-5 12th hole is the sixth-longest hole in major championship history. The East Course at Winged Foot Golf Club opened in 1923 and was designed by legendary architect A.W. Tillinghast. Many of the defining features of the more famous West Course are also present on the East Course. A recent restoration by Gil Hanse revitalized its classic design, including bunkering and the reclamation of the original green sizes and shapes, bringing the "corner-pocket" hole locations back into play.
