Course Details
Charlotte Country Club was originally established as The Mecklenburg Club. In 1917, its charter was revised to adopt the name Charlotte Country Club. The club’s 18-hole golf course, originally designed by Donald Ross, underwent a restoration led by architect Ron Prichard and earned Golf Digest’s 2009 award for Best Remodel of the Year. Over the years, the club has been the venue for four USGA championships: the 1972 U.S. Amateur, the 2000 U.S. Senior Amateur, the 2010 U.S. Women's Amateur, and the 2018 U.S. Mid-Amateur Championship.
