Hacienda Golf Club emerged during golf course architecture's Golden Age, envisioned by early 20th-century oil tycoon Alphonso Bell. The initial nine holes debuted in 1920, with the full 18 completed by 1923. A major renovation in 2005 modernized the course, maintaining its challenge and relevance. Throughout its history, Hacienda has welcomed prestigious tournaments backed by the USGA, SCGA, and SCPGA. The course record was held by Tiger Woods, who carded a 62 on his way to winning the SCGA Amateur Championship in 1994.
