Course Details

Established in 1920 by distinguished UC Berkeley professors, alumni, and influential civic and business leaders, the Club acquired a prime location atop the Berkeley Hills, offering stunning panoramic views of the Bay Area. Designed during golf’s “Golden Age,” the course seamlessly follows the natural landscape, showcasing spectacular sights of San Francisco, the Golden Gate, Mt. Tamalpais, and Wildcat Canyon. In 1929, the Club hosted the Berkeley Open, where Horton Smith claimed victory.
