Course Details
The original golf course, known as The Links of Skokie, was conceived by George Leslie on the Skokie marshlands. By 1904, with enough land secured, Skokie enlisted Tom Bendelow to design an expanded layout. In 1913, the club sought further improvements and hired renowned architect Donald Ross to redesign the course. The revamped course debuted in 1915 to widespread national acclaim, measuring 6,340 yards with a par of 70. Over the years, it has stood the test of time, featuring a well-balanced mix of short and long par-4s that provide a compelling array of risk-and-reward challenges.
