In 1932, the Bobby Jones Golf Course debuted as Atlanta’s first public golf venue, honoring the legacy of legendary golfer Bob Jones. The Bobby Jones Golf Course Foundation, Inc. reimagined the course, transforming it into a premier facility that reflects his esteemed name. The redesign features an innovative reversible layout crafted by the late Bob Cupp, cutting-edge training areas, and the Georgia Golf Hall of Fame. Additionally, the course offers programs aimed at expanding the sport, with a particular emphasis on youth development and adaptive golf. It stands as Georgia’s golf hub, housing the Georgia Golf Hall of Fame, the Georgia State Golf Association, and the Georgia Section of the PGA of America.
