Course Details
Originally crafted by noted architect John Bredemus in 1926 and reshaped by Carlton Gipson in 1991 to better showcase the site’s rolling elevations, Braeburn underwent a further design and playability enhancement in 2021 when Tripp Davis & Associates were retained to restore the course’s Golden Age parkland character; Davis prioritized greater shot-making variety, improved accessibility for all skill levels, and classic aesthetics while preserving the close-knit relationship between greens and tees that encourages walking, and the club supplemented those design improvements with Northbridge Bermuda fairways and tees, Mini-Verde greens, and modern irrigation and drainage to deliver markedly superior, more consistent playing conditions.
