Course Details

The golf course was crafted in 1924 by the acclaimed duo George C. Thomas and William P. “Billy” Bell, the same architects behind Riviera CC, Bel Air CC, and Los Angeles CC North. Precision takes precedence over sheer distance. Though measuring a modest 6,480 yards, the designers skillfully integrated the natural landscape, incorporating barrancas, creeks, and rolling hills while factoring in the prevailing westerly ocean breezes. The front nine is often hailed as a “perfect nine” since no two consecutive holes share the same par. Originally, thirteen of the eighteen holes boasted ocean views. The fourth hole, a dramatic downhill par 3, offers a stunning backdrop of snow-capped Mt. Baldy during the winter months.
