Edgewood Country Club, a Donald Ross design chartered in 1898, stands among Western Pennsylvania’s oldest and most respected clubs. At its best in firm, dry conditions, the course asks golfers to pay attention to details—green speeds and pin placements can quickly turn small misses into big problems, revealing the subtleties that make the layout tick. While the routing is largely straightforward, rolling fairways, well-placed bunkers, and greens with meaningful contour create a challenge that feels quintessentially Ross. Though a few updates have been made over time, the course still plays true to its original character.
