Designed by Donald Ross in 1922, Brookside Country Club is widely regarded as one of Ohio’s premier courses. It’s relatively generous from the tee aside from a handful of smartly positioned fairway bunkers, but the real test comes at the greens—bold, heavily contoured, and tough to read. Because pin position matters so much, the best strategy is to plan each hole from the green back: pick the right angle off the tee so you can approach from the correct side and give yourself a realistic look at par (or better).
