Wichita Country Club’s course was designed by Bill Diddel in 1950 and plays to a par 71 over 6,814 yards, with a 73.4 rating and 135 slope. The club features bentgrass greens, a driving range, and a traditional golf-first feel—walking is encouraged and caddies are available. Wichita’s championship pedigree is real, too: it has hosted three USGA events, highlighted by the 1955 U.S. Women’s Open, and it’s long been recognized for welcoming major championships and LPGA Tour stops over the years.
