Opened in 1989 and immediately honored as Golf Digest’s Best New Private Course, Shadow Glen winds across rocky ridgelines and dips into wooded valleys just a short drive from Kansas City. Golfers face a varied and demanding test, with stone-edged streams, rugged ravines, and greens full of movement shaping strategy on every hole. Co-designed by Tom Weiskopf, the course has previously appeared on Golf Digest’s 100 Greatest list and has consistently held a top-five position in the publication’s Best in Kansas rankings since the early 1990s.
