Course Details

Stretching to 6,454 yards and playing as a par 70, this championship course has tested golfers of every skill level since 1914 and is still regarded as one of the region’s classic designs. The original routing was crafted by famed Scottish architect Tom Bendelow, whose “naturalist” philosophy let the land speak for itself—using exposed rock ledges, sharp and subtle slopes, and the contours along Brush Creek and its tributaries as strategic features. Bendelow, known for designing more than 500 courses nationwide, including East Lake and Medinah, gave the property its timeless bones. Nearly a century later, the course underwent a comprehensive renovation that reopened in 2007 under the direction of Keith Foster, the noted architect behind updates at major venues such as Southern Hills and Colonial. Foster’s work introduced a standout par-3 by the clubhouse and reshaped the green complexes, adding nuance, defense, and visual drama to the holes while honoring the spirit of the original design.
