Orchard Lake Country Club, a classic Hugh Alison design from 1926, has undergone several modifications over the years. In the 1950s, Indiana architect Bill Diddel rebuilt a third of the greens, followed by Arthur Hills, who redesigned certain holes in the 1980s. It wasn't until the early 2000s that renewed interest emerged in restoring Alison’s original vision. Architect Keith Foster, drawing from old aerial photographs, recommended extensive tree removal and expanded the parameters of many greens. His restoration work began in 2002 and was completed in 2012.
