Course Details
Established in 1948 in historic Portsmouth, Virginia, Elizabeth Manor Golf & Country Club is a local landmark. Dick Wilson designed the private, 18-hole, par-70 layout that same year, and the club soon launched the Eastern Amateur—an event that has flourished ever since. The tournament draws top amateurs from across the United States and abroad, and past competitors who played here before turning professional include Curtis Strange, Ben Crenshaw, Galen Hill, Tom Strange, and Deane Beman.
