Established in 1899, Roanoke Country Club has long been a cornerstone of private club life in Virginia, offering members a 27-hole A.W. Tillinghast–designed golf course and a full suite of premier amenities. A founding member of the Virginia State Golf Association in 1904, the club has hosted numerous VSGA championships over the decades, including three State Opens and three State Amateurs. Since 1984, it has also been home to the Scott Robertson Memorial, consistently ranked among the nation’s top junior tournaments—underscoring Roanoke’s 125-year tradition of competitive golf and hospitality.
