Monacan, the original front side from 1963, features minimal elevation change and relatively flat fairways, making it ideal for a relaxed walk or a quick nine with family, with greenside bunkers, bold green contours, and water near the ninth green providing most of the defense. Buckingham is the most demanding of the trio, with tree-lined fairways, multiple doglegs, strategic bunkering, and contoured greens requiring thoughtful shot-making, highlighted by a striking par-3 fourth hole where water and a bulkhead wrap tightly around the green.
