Course Details

Carmel Country Club has long been regarded among the elite, recognized as both a Platinum Club of America and of the World, a Five Star Private Club, and ranked as the 13th best private club in the country by Club Leaders Forum. Yet, for all the accolades, the club is most proud of its welcoming, family-focused environment and the countless memories created by its members over the decades. Since opening its first golf course in 1950, Carmel has consistently evolved to stay current. The original South Course was laid out by George Cobb—one of the most in-demand architects of his era—and when it came time for a major renovation between 2009 and 2011, the club turned to another powerhouse design lineage, commissioning Rees Jones, son of Robert Trent Jones, to lead a comprehensive redesign.
