Course Details
Willow Oaks has long been regarded as one of Virginia’s standout golf venues, and a comprehensive renovation in 2007–2008 further cemented that reputation. First opened in 1957 with a design by W.F. Gordon and Son, the par-72 course was later reimagined by architect Lester George and unveiled to strong reviews in June 2008. Stretching to 7,100 yards along the banks of the James River, the layout features Bermuda fairways paired with bentgrass tees and greens, and has proudly served as host to the State Open of Virginia on multiple occasions.
