Course Details
Founded in 1908, The Beverly Country Club has long been a pillar of Chicago’s golf scene and a venue built for championship play. Its modern stature traces to a bold decision to commission Donald Ross for a comprehensive master plan, then methodically implement it over nearly a decade to restore major-tournament caliber. That commitment has been rewarded again and again: Beverly has staged four Western Opens (1910, 1963, 1967, 1970), the 1931 U.S. Amateur, and the 1943 Chicago Victory National Open, the wartime stand-in for the U.S. Open—cementing its place among the nation’s elite courses.
