Course Details

The Lakewood Club, part of the Robert Trent Jones Golf Trail, traces its roots to 1944 and showcases a design pedigree thanks to Perry Maxwell — the architect behind Southern Hills in Tulsa, host of the 2001 U.S. Open. Maxwell’s first course at Lakewood, the Dogwood, debuted in 1947 as the region’s first professional-caliber layout. Today Lakewood’s 36 holes blend rolling fairways, precise, narrow greens, spring-fed lakes, winding streams and mature tree stands into a scenic yet demanding round: you’ll play beneath century-old oaks and beside clear waters while enjoying modern renovations and meticulous, world-class maintenance that keep this historic property playing and feeling fresh.
