Carved from a former citrus grove in Vero Beach, Quail Valley Golf Club debuted in 2001 through the creative partnership of Tom Fazio II and Nick Price. The course unfolds across rolling terrain that makes clever use of the land’s natural contours and features water hazards on 13 of its holes. Generous fairways appear tighter than they are thanks to strategically placed bunkers and lakes, while greens are subtly contoured with slopes that feed into challenging runoff areas. The closing stretch is especially memorable—beginning with the long par-3 16th framed by water, followed by the dogleg par-4 17th tracing the edge of the lake, and culminating in the uphill par-4 18th that finishes in full view of the elegant Hamptons-style clubhouse.
