Course Details
Fenway, an elegant A.W. Tillinghast creation, is often overshadowed by nearby celebrated layouts like Winged Foot and Quaker Ridge. Yet those who play it discover distinctive greens complexes and a varied terrain that make it memorable. Dramatic hazards—from the vast Sahara bunker on the third to the Principal’s Nose collection on the 10th—showcase Fenway’s deliberate and artful bunkering. Since Gil Hanse led a restoration to recapture Tillinghast’s original intent, the course has experienced a revival and was chosen to co-host the stroke-play qualifying for the U.S. Mid-Amateur in 2023.
