Course Details

When brothers James and Robert Foulis brought the design traditions of Old Tom Morris from St. Andrews, they aimed to build the nation’s finest links. Launched in 1901 as St. Louis’s first 18-hole course, Glen Echo has long required thoughtful strategy, exacting shots, and an abiding respect for the terrain. Its fairways have challenged Olympic athletes, Open champions, and elite amateurs across generations. Though the landscape has matured, the course’s character—rooted in Scottish tradition—remains intact, rewarding players who show patience, imagination, and skilled workmanship.
