Course Details
Weyhill, the third course at Saucon Valley, is the club’s scenic showpiece—routed across rolling terrain with bold elevation changes and an abandoned quarry at its heart. Designed by William and David Gordon, the layout leans into the land’s character, a former dairy known as Saucona Farms that later became “Weyhill Farms” under Bethlehem Steel executive Quincy Bent. Opened for play on August 28, 1968, the course briefly took the name “Bent Creek” in 1970 before reverting to Weyhill two years later. Its most unforgettable stretch spans the quarry: the 176-yard par-3 14th demands a full carry to a green that tilts hard from right to left and back to front, while the 15th echoes Pine Valley’s famed second with a strenuous uphill approach to a bunker-buttressed, elevated target. From the back tees, Weyhill stretches to 7,099 yards and feels distinctly different from Old and Grace.
