Course Details
East Lake Golf Club, located in Atlanta, Georgia, was originally laid out by Tom Bendelow. In 1915, Donald Ross essentially built a new course on the same site, which remained largely unchanged until adjustments were made before the 1963 Ryder Cup. In the mid-90s, Rees Jones redesigned many holes, aligning the course with his vision of championship golf. Following the 2023 Tour Championship, East Lake underwent another major restoration by Andrew Green, emphasizing its Donald Ross legacy. Green used a 1949 aerial photograph to guide the replacement of bunkers and the reshaping of greens.
