Coldstream stands out as one of Dick Wilson’s finest designs. However, over the years, much of the original character and subtlety—common to the work of architects like Donald Ross, William Flynn, and A.W. Tillinghast—had gradually faded. In 2020, Keith Foster led a remarkable restoration effort, bringing new life to the course. His work included removing trees to recapture the scale and grandeur of the holes, widening fairways, and most notably, deepening the bunkers and refining their edges to more accurately reflect Wilson’s detailed and distinctive shaping.
