Course Details
Founded in 1918, Northmoor Country Club presents 27 holes anchored by 18 Donald Ross originals, with a third nine added by Larry Packard in 1965. Packard’s work comprises holes 2–7 on today’s Red nine and the 4th and 5th on the current White, so Ross devotees will find the purest sampling on the Blue/White combination, where 16 of 18 holes trace to his hand. It’s little wonder the Blue/White routing is the club’s preferred course. Recent refinements have further sharpened the presentation, including Michael Hurdzan’s bunker updates using the Better Billy Bunker liner and Black Beauty fescue edging, which enhance drainage, playability, and classic aesthetics.
