Course Details
Winding its way through the undulating terrain, amidst the majestic longleaf pines, and alongside serene lakes, CCNC boasts two remarkable and demanding golf courses. Both Dogwood and Cardinal, stand as premier private, member-owned courses. Dogwood, established in 1963, initially bore the creative imprint of renowned architect Ellis Maples in collaboration with Willard Byrd. In 2016, architect Kris Spence undertook a renovation project aimed at modernizing the course while preserving the essence of Maples' original design. The project encompassed transitioning to Champion Ultradwarf Bermudagrass greens and highly playable Zeon Zoysia fairways, distinguishing CCNC as the sole zoysia course in the Sandhills region.
