Course Details
La Gorce emerged in the 1920s as part of Southeast Florida’s early golf boom, its course and surrounding community literally built from Biscayne Bay dredge. After World War II the club ceded the layout to the city, and in the 1950s Robert Trent Jones overhauled it to suit contemporary play. The property has been reworked several times since—most notably by Jack Nicklaus in the 1990s—and remains a course in steady refinement.
