Course Details

Only a select few clubs in the Mid-Atlantic region can boast the exceptional golfing experience of having 36 holes like Hermitage Country Club. Both courses proudly bear the distinctive marks of two revered course designers from the modern era. The Sabot course, originally crafted by Ed Ault in 1973, underwent a renovation by Arthur Hills in 2000. Meanwhile, the Manakin course received a redesign by Keith Foster in 2005. At Hermitage, golfers are treated to two championship-caliber courses. Hermitage has been the esteemed host of various prestigious events, including the 1949 PGA Championship, triumphed by Sam Snead. It also served as the venue for the PGA Senior Tour Crestar Classic from 1983 to 1990, witnessing Arnold Palmer's final PGA Tour victory in 1988.
