Course Details

Founded in 1894 and relocated to its present site in 1916–17, The Weston Golf Club centers on an 18-hole, par-72 course rooted in Donald Ross’s original nine and his expanded par-71 layout that opened in 1923. The routing reached today’s par-72 in 1965, when Geoffrey Cornish added the current 11th and 12th holes to replace a short par-3 and a par-4. Subsequent refinements have kept the course true and playable: new tees on 16 and 17 in the 1990s; reconstructed greens at 2, 8, and 13 in fall 2001; and bunker restoration with a modern irrigation system installed in 2002–03.
