Course Details

Opened in 1972 as Carrollwood Village Golf & Country Club, Carrollwood Country Club now features 27 holes across the Cypress, Meadow, and Pine nines, creating three distinct rotations for members each week. Cypress is the longest and generally the toughest test; Meadow is shorter with compact, contoured greens ringed by strategic bunkers; and Pine brings water into play on seven holes, finishing at a 9th-hole island green. The club played an early role in the Senior PGA Tour, hosting the Michelob–Egypt Temple Senior Classic in 1981 and 1982 and welcoming legends like Arnold Palmer, Sam Snead, Billy Casper, and two-time champion Don January—winner of the Tour’s first official event in 1980 and ultimately a 22-time senior champion. Beginning in 2004, Dan Maples redesigned all three nines, and the greens were most recently resurfaced with Champion Ultradwarf to deliver a top-tier putting surface.
