Course Details
Denton Country Club is a private, member-owned club in Argyle, Texas, founded in 1922. Its 18-hole course plays to a par 71 at 6,549 yards across 215 acres. The layout began as nine holes and expanded to 18 in 1969 under Ralph Plummer, with a mid-1980s renovation by Dick Nugent. Tree-lined fairways, strategic bunkers, water hazards, and contoured greens define the test. The club has hosted Texas Golf Association events, including the 24th Texas Mid-Amateur Match Play in 2022 and the 2016 North Senior Amateur, and it stages the Dwain Bean Invitational. Amenities include four outdoor tennis courts, four pickleball courts, an aquatic center, fitness facilities, and dining.
